Weekend Park Camps

The Progression Session weekend camps are freestyle-focused experiences perfect for all abilities of snowboarders. If you have never been in the park before, our staff of seasoned coaches will be there every step of the way as you hit your first box. Familiar to the park and looking to add to your bag of tricks? We got you, girl, as our professional snowboarders and coaches help you step to street-style rails, perfect your front three, or master switch Euro-carving and on-trail tripods. At each resort, TPS is lucky to have our own private park with beginner-to-intermediate sized jumps, box, rails, and more that are perfect for every level of rider to learn new tricks. Professional snowboarders and coaching staff are there at every turn to provide guidance and advice. Learn from X Games medalists, Olympians, and other accomplished women who bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to every weekend camp.

During each camp, building confidence is emphasized as we’re all in this progression session together. Broken into half-day sessions, TPS instills skills from each basic area of snowboarding during the first three sessions: jumping, jibbing, transition (halfpipe) and all mountain specific to your level of riding in order to provide a well-rounded base on which to build. On Sunday afternoon, because we understand that snowboarding is a very individual pursuit and everyone comes to camp with personal goals, we offer stations that each rider can choose from and move between to dial in their favorite tricks.

SCHEDULE:

FRIDAY:
5-7pm – Registration and pizza party! Get signed in, grab your goody bag and enjoy pizza and pre-apres with the TPS crew

SATURDAY:
7-8:15am – Breakfast and registration in the TPS room! If you couldn’t make Friday night, here’s another chance to sign in. Fuel up for the day with healthy snacks and meet your fellow TPS’ers.
8:15-8:45am – Yoga. Warm up with certified yoga instructors/pro snowboarders like Dom Vallee! Get stretched out before hitting the park.
8:45-9am – Intro with coaches. Meet the TPS crew and learn your group for the weekend. Gear up and head outside!
9am-12pm – Session 1. Head on hill with a TPS coach and focus on jibbing, jumping, or all mountain tricks. Head to the private TPS park to practice and learn more tricks!
12-1pm – Lunch. You’ve been riding hard, so fill your belly!
1-4pm – Session 2. Switch coaches to learn from another awesome TPS lady. You’ll focus on a different area than in the morning.
4-7pm – TPS apres! Enjoy some festive celebration in the form of snacks and beverages after a hard day on hill.

SUNDAY:
7:30-830am – Meet back at the TPS room for breakfast and warming up.
8:30-9am – Yoga stretches out sore muscles in preparation for the second day on hill!
9am-12pm – Session 3. Gather with your group to ride with a third member of the TPS coaching staff. You’ll get a session that includes riding halfpipe (conditions permitting) and practicing hitting transition.
12-1pm – Lunch. We recommend pizza.
1-4pm – Choose your own shredventure! Coaches are stationed at every possible zone: jumps, jibs, big park laps, halfpipe, and more so you can pick the areas in which you want to learn more and dial in your favorite tricks and accomplish personal goals.
4-5pm – Apres and awards! Enjoy snacks, hot cocoa or a glass of wine as we celebrate our accomplishments the past two days! Raffles for new gear, prizes for social media contests and more!
5pm – Hug, high five and depart. Get stoked for next year!
